Famous cryptocurrency analyst Tone Vays, in a bold prediction, suggested that the largest cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC) could rise above expectations during the current market cycle. Vays, who regularly discusses Bitcoin with his YouTube subscribers, had predicted in March 2023 that BTC could reach $200,000 at some point this year.
Significant Uptrend in Bitcoin
Vays revised his earlier prediction in a recent strategy session on YouTube, in light of the launch of spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) earlier this year. He told his subscribers that Bitcoin would now exceed the previous target level and could potentially lead to a longer-term bull market.
Vays outlined three possible scenarios stemming from the launch of spot ETFs, asking “What does having ETFs mean? It probably means that the price will reach a higher level than I expected. The bull market could last longer than I thought, or as the best combination of all, the price could go higher and farther.”
The experienced analyst emphasized the importance of key price levels, noting that it would be difficult for Bitcoin to fall back below $65,000 once it surpassed the $84,000 to $85,000 range. Despite his positive outlook, Vays admitted to being skeptical about the uptrend but expressed optimism that this time things could be different, underlining a strong bullish trend for BTC in general.
Anticipating Over $35,000 by April 2027
Vays also claimed that considering the sentiment among those who had previously underestimated its potential, Bitcoin could surprise investors with its upward trajectory. Referring to predictions that the largest cryptocurrency could reach $250,000 or $300,000, he mentioned that these target levels now seem more reasonable.
Looking at the investor’s chart, it appears that Vays predicts Bitcoin will rise above $355,000 by April 2027. This ambitious price forecast indicates a significant long-term growth trajectory for the largest cryptocurrency.
