Blockchain security firm CertiK warned users of the popular cryptocurrency exchange OKX through social media platform X. The team urged users to immediately update to the latest version on iOS. With this step, the team highlighted that users’ sensitive data and crypto assets could potentially be at risk on iOS.

On December 19th, an important announcement was made by the blockchain security company CertiK. In a post made through social media platform X, the team advised users to update their iOS applications as soon as possible. It was announced that due to a security vulnerability, OKX users’ personal data and crypto assets could potentially be at risk.
Addressing this critical issue, the team shared with their followers that a Remote Code Execution (RCE) security flaw had been detected and that a warning had been issued to the OKX team. According to CertiK, OKX promptly responded to the issue and offered an updated version to users.
