The hacking of the leading Blockchain cybersecurity company CertiK‘s official X account has caused a stir in the cryptocurrency community. The hackers who took control of the account immediately started a phishing scam.
A single post was made from the account with the intention of taking control of users’ wallet addresses and stealing assets from their wallets. After the situation was noticed by experts, calls were made to avoid clicking any links in the account.

CertiK Officials Regain Control of the Account
Shortly after the X account was hacked, CertiK officials managed to regain control of it. The phishing scam post was quickly removed.
