XRP, the digital asset developed by Ripple, reached an all-time high of $3.65 in July 2025. While many market participants interpreted this as the top of the cycle, crypto analyst CasiTrades has argued that the current trend is far from over, drawing significant attention with her technical analysis.
XRP’s placement in Elliott Wave cycle
CasiTrades recently published an in-depth macro Elliott Wave analysis, contending that the 2025 high did not represent the end of XRP’s bullish momentum. According to her view, the rise from $0.50 in late 2024 to $3.65 completed a five-wave impulse sequence, which she identifies as Wave 1 within a larger structure.
Under Elliott Wave Theory, a completed five-wave impulse is typically followed by a corrective phase, known as Wave 2, before another major move—Wave 3—unfolds. CasiTrades states that XRP currently sits in this corrective Wave 2, suggesting further upside potential once the correction concludes.
She argues that the long-term bullish trend begun with the $0.50 breakout in 2024 is still intact, with the recent all-time high marking only the first wave of a broader upward sequence.
Mini dictionary: Elliott Wave Theory, a technical analysis approach, interprets market cycles through a repetitive five-wave advance followed by a three-wave correction. The third wave, or “Wave 3,” tends to be the most powerful movement in the cycle.
Current price action and support levels
At present, XRP is trading close to $1.18. CasiTrades highlights that the asset is now within a so-called “macro Wave 2 correction.” She points to a critical support region between $0.86 and $1.09, where multiple Fibonacci retracement levels converge, providing technical backing for her analysis. The $0.77 low recorded on Binance is marked as a possible low for Wave 2.
| Price Level | Significance |
|---|---|
| $0.77 | Potential Wave 2 bottom (Binance low) |
| $0.86 – $1.09 | Key support zone (Fibonacci convergence) |
| $1.18 | Current XRP price |
Expectations for macro Wave 3
CasiTrades has been explicit about her outlook for the next phase. She maintains that the 2025 high marked the end of Wave 1 in a much larger move. If accurate, the ongoing correction would soon give way to a Wave 3, classically the strongest and longest leg in an impulse wave.
According to her projections, the target for Wave 3 starts at $2.41, where the 0.382 Fibonacci extension lies, and rises toward $3.28 and higher, with possible extensions beyond $3.60. Her analysis indicates that this forthcoming Wave 3 could unfold through 2026 and into 2027, subdividing into smaller waves as the trend develops.
CasiTrades wrote that “most consider wave 3/3 the bull run,” describing this stage as the most vigorous segment in the Elliott Wave model.
In several posts, she also suggested that macro Wave 3 may already be underway, with the initial move possibly starting from the $0.77 bottom on Binance. Any further decline within the support range could still be classified as part of the broader Wave 2 correction, but she labels current market activity as the “early subwaves” of a new advance.
Perspective on entry points and future risk
CasiTrades has indicated there may be “no better entry than W2,” a reference to historical patterns where Wave 2 corrections offer favorable conditions for those entering long positions ahead of anticipated Wave 3 rallies.
Her analysis underscores that, in the Elliott Wave framework, missing the correction phase is seen as missing the most lucrative setup. Despite the technical optimism, however, she cautions that market volatility remains a significant factor and that the proposed targets are not guaranteed.
