Hayes describes Hyperliquid as the standout of the current cycle. Despite weaknesses in other cryptocurrencies, this new-generation DEX story continues to draw volume, contributing to protocol earnings. Investors recall that HYPE Coin surged from $2-3 to $60, viewing the altcoin season as ongoing rather than in the past.
Highlighting Solana (SOL) as another example, Hayes noted how its price approached $7 after the FTX crash, later surpassing $300.
