Following this interaction, on December 24th, Sam Altman shared a striking post about the topic, which excited many artificial intelligence enthusiasts, especially ChatGPT users.
The first topic mentioned in the famous CEO’s tweet was AGI. AGI, in short, is based on the idea that artificial intelligence will become indistinguishable from a human after the GPT-5 upgrade. Altman asked his followers for patience and hinted that work on the subject is ongoing.
Following this topic, Altman discussed the GPT-5 upgrade and maintained the expectation that this development would definitely take place in 2024. He then hinted at improvements across all services, including better voice modes, higher rate limits, and improved GPT services.
