Sleepless nights are coming to an end as the SEC’s official ETF approval is expected to be announced in about 4 hours. However, there have already been very strong statements indicating that the ETFs will indeed be approved. Announcements have been made by ETF managers and just recently on the CBOE’s official website. The ETF matter is (finally) complete.
Spot Bitcoin ETF to Start Trading Tomorrow
CBOE exchange published the necessary documents for listing today. We had announced this as breaking news just hours ago. The announcement they have now published states that the ETFs (6 to be traded on CBOE) will start trading tomorrow. They did not announce this on their Twitter accounts, and as you can see from the screenshot below, they announced it on their official website. So, it’s official.
Another piece of good news was provided by Charles Gasparino from Fox Business. He wrote exactly the following;
“A senior executive from one of the companies applying for the ETF told me that the SEC has informed them that the fund will be approved after the market closes today.”
It seems that everyone except the SEC is saying that the ETF approval has come. This includes the exchange where the ETFs will be traded and the ETF issuers. Now the final word is with the SEC in 4 hours. The ETFs to be traded on the CBOE exchange are as follows;
- Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF $BTCO
- Franklin Bitcoin ETF $EZBC
- ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF $ARKB
- VanEck Bitcoin Trust $HODL
- Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund $FBTC
- WisdomTree Bitcoin Fund $BTCW
