Founder and CEO of Morgan Creek Capital, Mark Yusko, is optimistic about the future of Bitcoin (BTC) and suggests that the bull market for the leading cryptocurrency is just beginning. As a hedge fund veteran with extensive experience in financial markets, Yusko also issued a potential correction warning.
Bitcoin Could Rise to Six Figures by Mid-2025
In an interview with The Wolf of All Streets YouTube channel, Yusko shared his belief that Bitcoin could rise to a six-figure sum by the middle of next year, which would double its fair value expectations.
Yusko’s estimate of Bitcoin’s fair value is based on network effects, taking into account factors such as the number of BTC users and miners. He added that during this bull cycle, Bitcoin’s fair value could be around $75,000 or $80,000.
Nevertheless, Yusko added that with new investors, traders, and speculators entering the market, Bitcoin’s price could exceed its fair value and potentially reach up to $150,000 between this year’s Thanksgiving and June of the following year.
Correction Warning for Bitcoin and Altcoins
Despite the bullish outlook, Yusko warned of a possible serious correction for Bitcoin and altcoins before reaching all-time highs. He noted that the cryptocurrency market has not yet experienced a significant pullback, which typically occurs around June. Yusko also mentioned another expected wave of selling before this year’s tax season, indicating potential volatility in the near future.
Yusko’s views come at a time when Bitcoin is trading around $52,000, reflecting ongoing market activities and investor sentiment. His statements serve as a caution to investors about the dynamic nature of the cryptocurrency market, characterized by periods of rapid growth as well as significant corrections.
