Binance exchange’s US arm announced on March 7 that two popular altcoins will be delisted. Binance US, currently in a battle with the SEC, has been reducing the number of altcoins it offers for some time.
Binance Delist
According to a recent announcement by Binance US, Aragon (ANT) and Waves (WAVES) will be delisted on March 7. Waves, in particular, experienced a rapid decline from its all-time high amid rumors of price inflation by the team and subsequently failed to recover as expected. Binance wrote the following;
“We operate in a rapidly evolving sector and our digital asset monitoring process is designed to be sensitive to market and regulatory developments. When a crypto asset no longer meets our high standards, or when industry conditions change, we conduct a more thorough review of the affected asset and assess whether further action is necessary. Delisting is included in this process.
Deposits for Aragon (ANT) and Waves (WAVES) will be closed on March 6, 2024, and trading pairs will be removed on March 7. We thank you for your support as we continue to build the crypto ecosystem with a focus on security, transparency, and long-term sustainable growth.”
