NFTs continue to permeate our lives, but in this process, many projects or artists are giving up working in this area or changing their line of work after developments in the NFT market. One of the most famous of these names is Cem Yılmaz. Let’s take a closer look at the famous figure’s steps in this field since the NFT rally began in 2021.
Cem Yılmaz and the NFT Space
As known, Cem Yılmaz worked as a cartoonist at Leman Magazine and made a name for himself in this field. In October 2021, he tweeted his own drawing of an NFT, announcing that the buyer would watch Erşan Kuneri in his office with him.
The celebrity, instead of putting a price tag on the NFTs shared on OpenSea, approved the incoming offers to carry out the sales and followed the NFT owners on X, gifted them tickets to his shows, or as mentioned earlier, provided a chance to meet in his office.
About three years ago, the famous figure managed to sell his first NFT for 5 Ethereum, valued at $14,453 at the time of writing. He then made his highest NFT sale for 10.69 Ethereum, valued at $30,900. On closer inspection, Cem Yılmaz has so far managed to earn over 105 Ethereum, indicating an income of over $304,920.
The Astounding Value of NFT Sales
According to Etherscan data, Cem Yılmaz has so far paid over 7.89 Ethereum in transaction fees on the Ethereum network, which shows he burned Ethereum worth $32,000. These transactions include accepting NFT offers, converting WETH assets to Ethereum, and transfer fees.
As seen in his OpenSea account, four major NFT collections stand out. The first prominent collection is Far A Head, with a total transaction volume of 89 Ethereum, and the cheapest NFT valued at 0.40 Ethereum.
Cem Yılmaz not only sold his drawings in the NFT space but also engaged in buying and selling transactions from significant NFT collections. The first notable project among these NFT collections is the Ninja Squad project, closely followed by the Turkish crypto community.
