In the last 24 hours, Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and Ripple (XRP) experienced a session in the decline zone with decreasing price trajectories. However, Bitcoin (BTC) maintained its break above the $71,000 level, while Toncoin (TON) was among the top gainers of the day.
Current Status of Major Cryptocurrencies
The global cryptocurrency market value fell by a significant 1.05% to $2.62 trillion, followed by a 9.09% drop in total crypto market volume to $74.9 billion. This overall market decline is reflected in the prices of most cryptocurrencies.
The leading cryptocurrency saw its price briefly drop to $70,000 today after a notable break above the $71,000 level. This movement aligns with the $132.2 million outflow recorded in Bitcoin ETFs on June 6, according to Farside Investors data. Nevertheless, the token rose by 0.22% over the past day, surpassing $71,000 again to reach $71,142.90.
BTC’s 24-hour low and high levels were $70,119.12 and $71,625.74, respectively. Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s dominance today increased by 0.21% to 53.24% compared to yesterday. The ETH price fell by 1.57% in the last 24 hours to $3,804.81. The cryptocurrency’s 24-hour lows and highs were $3,761.78 and $3,865.93, respectively. Despite an extraordinary increase in daily active users in the Ethereum ecosystem following the ETF approval, the token has yet to witness significant upward momentum.
Altcoins and Meme Tokens
Although the SOL price surpassed the $170 mark yesterday, it fell by 2.02% in the last 24 hours to $170.47. Solana’s 24-hour low and high levels were $167.86 and $173.90, respectively. The Ripple Labs-backed cryptocurrency followed the broader market trend, falling by 0.68% to $0.5223. Its 24-hour low and high values were $0.5175 and $0.5276, respectively.
Although the XRP price maintained its position above $0.52, a drop below the critical $0.52 support kept investors on alert. DOGE price fell by 1.01% to $0.1609 yesterday, while SHIB price dropped by 2.99% to $0.00002511 in the same period. The most popular meme tokens PEPE, WIF, and BONK saw their prices drop by 5-6%. However, FLOKI showed a 0.93% increase.
