The cryptocurrency exchange Bybit is increasing its support for projects emerging on The Open Network (TON) by listing the token of the record-breaking Hamster Kombat game for pre-market trading. Bybit officially announced on July 8th that Hamster Kombat (HMSTR) was listed on its over-the-counter (OTC) platform, Bybit Pre-Market Trade.

Bybit’s platform is designed for trading new tokens before their official listing, allowing buyers and sellers to place bids and trade at predetermined prices. According to the announcement, Bybit’s pre-market OTC platform began trading HMSTR on July 8th at 1:00 PM.
Bybit emphasized that including HMSTR in its pre-market platform is a significant step forward, giving users a chance to acquire HMSTR before it is listed for spot trading. The exchange team shared the following statement:
“This exclusive access allows users to secure HMSTR tokens before the market and lock in buy or sell prices early, marking an innovative progress in the process.”
Details on the Matter
HMSTR is now listed on the Bybit Pre-Market Trade platform, but it is unknown when the Hamster Kombat token will start spot trading. Bybit stated the following on its website regarding pre-market trading:
“While pre-market trades reflect market expectations, the official listing price itself may be influenced by other factors. It is worth noting that both the pre-market price and the official listing price are ultimately determined by the market, and there is not necessarily a direct correlation between the two.”
According to Bybit Pre-Market Trading data, the pre-market price of the HMSTR token quoted in Tether ranged between approximately $0.001 and $0.1 at the time of writing.
Hamster Kombat is a game on Telegram where players take on the role of a CEO running a virtual cryptocurrency exchange, played by tapping or clicking to win. Since its launch in March 2024, the game has been breaking engagement records, with its creators claiming it is the third fastest application in history to reach 150 million users.
