Binance announced its support for upcoming network upgrades and hard forks for Shentu (CTK) and Rootstock Infrastructure Framework (RIF). This initiative ensures Binance’s platform remains aligned with the latest developments of these blockchain networks, enhancing user experience.
Shentu (CTK) Network Upgrade
The Shentu (CTK) network upgrade and hard fork are planned to occur at block height 19,525,000. This is expected to happen on July 23, 2024, at 13:00 Turkey time.
In preparation for this event, Binance will suspend deposits and withdrawals for Shentu (CTK) tokens from 12:00 Turkey time on the same day. This temporary suspension allows Binance to make necessary adjustments and technical updates without disrupting user transactions during the upgrade process.
Important Announcement for RIF
Following Shentu, the Rootstock Infrastructure Framework (RIF) network will undergo an upgrade and hard fork at block height 6,549,300. This is scheduled to take place on July 24, 2024, around 13:00 Turkey time.
Similarly, Binance will halt deposits and withdrawals for RIF tokens from 12:00 on that day. The pause will remain in effect until the upgrade is complete and network stability is confirmed, ensuring all technical requirements are met without compromising user security or functionality.
It is important to note that trading of Shentu (CTK) and Rootstock Infrastructure Framework (RIF) tokens will not be affected by these network upgrades. Binance assures users that all technical aspects related to these upgrades will be managed internally, ensuring a smooth transition without additional impact on trading activities. Deposits and withdrawals will resume once Binance verifies the stability of both networks post-upgrade.
