According to recent information, Durov posted a message via his Telegram account. In his new message, the Telegram CEO mentioned that he is under investigation in Paris due to the platform’s misuse and promised to enhance security.
Durov’s move is seen as an effort to work in harmony with regulators, and attention has turned back to TON’s price.
Toncoin (TON) Price Update
Before Durov’s detention, Toncoin (TON) maintained a strong stance despite a drop in BTC. TON continued to challenge the $7 mark even as the market fell. However, things changed suddenly after the detention news.
TON’s price initially saw a steep drop, losing nearly 30% of its value in one day. Although it recovered slightly, the decline continued as the CEO remained detained. Currently, TON’s price has risen to $4.83.
This increase marks a 4.67% price movement, possibly influenced by the positive impact of Durov’s message.
