The 90-minute debate highlighted differences on various issues such as abortion, economy, immigration, and Ukraine. Donald Trump primarily found himself on the defensive, and according to a significant portion of the audience, Kamala Harris emerged as the dominant participant and the debate’s winner. Trump could not defend his claim about immigrants eating pets in Ohio, a statement that David Muir confirmed as debunked.
Trump’s record is marred with several blemishes, including a court conviction for lying. Kamala Harris used topics like the Capitol riot effectively against Trump, showing she was well-prepared for the debate. Harris also addressed comments about her race, labeling Trump’s use of racist remarks to divide Americans as tragic.
Harris commented, “The only thing I can say is, I read she wasn’t Black, then I learned she was. And that’s fine. Either way, it’s fine with me. That’s up to her.”
This was likely the first and last debate between Harris and Trump. With elections approaching, it is not expected that they will face off again, but they will continue to spar in election campaigns.

Recent data indicates that Harris maintains her lead with over 47% of the vote. Following the debate, more than 60% of participants in an American News poll considered Harris the winner.
In crypto prediction markets, Kamala Harris is leading with 50%, whereas Trump is trailing significantly, making his path to victory challenging.

For days, there was speculation that this debate could trigger significant volatility, particularly for the popular PolitFi token MAGA (TRUMP). The token dropped more than 17% as Trump was perceived to have performed poorly in the debate.
An altcoin, which was trading at $2.9, had risen to nearly $3.5 amid election excitement. A significant event confirming Trump’s loss could trigger a substantial crash.
