XRP ETFs maintain strong momentum

XRP-focused funds have been recognized for outperforming both bitcoin and ether products during periods of wider market sell-offs. The US’s first spot XRP ETF began trading on Nasdaq in November 2025, drawing in $243 million in net inflows on its opening day, even as bitcoin’s price fell below $100,000 and redemptions increased in BTC and ETH funds.

By mid-December, spot XRP ETFs had achieved a streak of 30 consecutive days of net inflows. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse highlighted this on X, especially as rival Bitcoin and Ether ETFs faced consistent outflows. The positive trend for XRP funds continued into the current session, underlining the asset’s strength with institutional investors.

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse noted the uninterrupted 30-day inflow streak last December, emphasizing strong institutional interest in XRP ETFs even as Bitcoin and Ether products saw outflows.

Bitcoin ETFs experience further outflows

By contrast, US spot bitcoin ETFs registered $120.24 million in net outflows, marking a second consecutive day of declines. The largest single redemption came from ARK and 21Shares’ ARKB, which shed $77.98 million on Wednesday. Grayscale’s GBTC followed with $27.22 million in outflows, while BlackRock’s IBIT lost $19.53 million. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT was the only major Bitcoin ETF to record an inflow, rising by $4.49 million.

Trading value for bitcoin ETFs stood at $2.05 billion and net assets finished at $99.33 billion. Bitcoin’s price continues to hover near a crucial barrier for institutional investors, prompting cautious optimism following a prior $18 billion drawdown. Market participants are closely watching whether this resistance will impede further recovery or lead to renewed inflows.

US spot bitcoin ETFs have nearly recovered to break-even after significant prior drawdowns, with the institutional cost basis once again serving as a potential resistance level for further price appreciation.

ETH, Solana, and other ETF flows mixed

Ether ETFs finished the session firmly in positive territory, collecting $34.75 million in net inflows. BlackRock’s staking ETH ETF (ETHB) attracted $22.94 million, the largest among Ether products. BlackRock’s ETHA contributed $9.71 million, while 21Shares’ TETH added another $2.10 million. Ether ETF trading totaled $852.09 million, with net assets closing at $15.69 billion. No significant outflows were reported among these products.

Solana ETFs also registered positive momentum, drawing in $11.73 million. Bitwise’s BSOL gained $11.18 million and Morgan Stanley’s MSOL added $558,150. Combined, Solana ETF net assets stood at $1.44 billion. Meanwhile, HYPE ETFs saw a reversal, reporting $5.29 million in outflows entirely attributed to Bitwise’s BHYP. HYPE ETF trading volume reached $31.08 million, while net assets totaled $464.29 million.

Given the rapid market movements seen with surprise Fed decisions or unexpected altcoin listings, investors are increasingly prioritizing efficiency and privacy in their trading setups. Many now use privacy-first solutions such as CryptoAppsy, which allow users to consolidate real-time charts, news, and portfolio management on one screen—without requiring an account. This shift helps traders minimize missed opportunities and react quickly to sudden market events such as sharp ETF flows or resistance breakouts.
