A popular crypto analyst has updated his views on Solana (SOL), a leading smart contract platform and competitor of Ethereum (ETH), as well as another moving altcoin, while issuing warnings about Litecoin (LTC).
BCH Exception!
The analyst, known as DonAlt, claimed through his YouTube channel that altcoins would likely underperform in the near future. However, he noted that there would be exceptions like Bitcoin Cash (BCH), which has gained investors’ attention with its recent strong performance. The expert stated:
The only thing I’m quite certain about is that altcoins will continue to perform poorly as a whole. However, there will be outliers like Bitcoin Cash, which has been performing well in the past few days.
Bitcoin Cash surged from around $105 on June 20 and is currently trading at $276, representing an increase of over 162%.
Following the BCH prediction, DonAlt, a senior analyst, warned investors about Litecoin, stating that the payment network could experience a market correction. DonAlt said the following about Litecoin:
I’m not quite sure if the game is over for Bitcoin Cash, but I’m pretty sure the game is over for Litecoin.
Watch Out for Litecoin!
According to the charts shared by analyst DonAlt, Litecoin was retesting the $95 level. Since then, Litecoin has regained the $103 level with a 7.2% increase in the past 24 hours.
Lastly, DonAlt suggested that it would be a good opportunity for investors to buy Solana if it suddenly drops to $10, as a competitor to Ethereum. The expert emphasized the following about Solana:
If Solana drops to $10 in a single candle, would I buy it? Yes. I generally like $10.
At the time of writing, Solana is trading at $29.16, representing an increase of over 33.5% in the past 24 hours.
