The cryptocurrency analyst known by the pseudonym Altcoin Psycho stated on the social media platform X that investors are not optimistic enough about ETH in the current situation, and said:
Markets are underestimating the likelihood of an ETH ETF by 100%. They are also underestimating its price impact. Buying ETH below $3,000 before the ETF would be an obvious hindsight move. Just as it is now very clear that you should have bought Bitcoin before the ETF.
Data from Ethereum-based prediction market platform Polymarket may show that only 13% of investors believe an ETH ETF will be approved by the end of the month. Addressing the broader cryptocurrency market, Altcoin Psycho suggested that market participants will eventually shift their capital from meme tokens to top-tier cryptocurrency projects, stating:
At some point, all this scattered interest will narrow through a flight to quality, which means meme token sales. I don’t think the cycle peak is here, but I believe the meme token peak is not far off. Meme tokens are not the end game but a transitional phase. If you disagree, study past cycles.
Current State of AI Altcoins
Regarding the emerging artificial intelligence (AI) sector, the analyst noted that while many are calling for the AI bubble to burst, he believes it is still in its early stages and is poised to become one of the biggest speculative frenzies ever seen. The senior analyst concluded with the following remarks:
Most people say the AI bubble will burst soon. I will counter this and say the bubble is just beginning. This is my highest conviction since I said SOL should be bought at $15… 99% of AI ventures will fail. When this happens, the naysayers will prematurely declare victory. But once the dust settles, the surviving 1% will be so valuable that they will push the bubble beyond anything we’ve seen before.
