Bitcoin‘s recent price action continues to generate a mixed technical outlook, with the cryptocurrency fluctuating near $64,880 after briefly reaching an intraday high above $66,300. Sellers have remained active at higher levels, keeping downward pressure on Bitcoin and pushing its session loss to around 1.8%.

Resistance near $64,900 remains critical

Technical analysis from multiple sources points to the $64,900 area as a central pivot for Bitcoin. A detailed 4-hour chart analysis by @Freedom_By_40 utilizes Elliott Wave labeling along with Fibonacci retracement levels, identifying $64,911 as a key resistance and $63,669 as a significant support level. If Bitcoin maintains a foothold above $63,669, analysts retain a cautiously optimistic view, with potential upside targets between $69,687 and $73,240.

However, failure to hold the $63,669 region could trigger further declines and a shift in sentiment. Price action in recent sessions has underscored the market’s struggle to maintain momentum above the $66,000 mark, with buyers unable to secure sustained breakouts.

Technical frameworks highlight $64,900 as a critical resistance zone, while $63,669 remains essential support. Unless buyers reclaim lost ground decisively, Bitcoin risks a retreat towards lower ranges, according to leading analysts.

Tools designed for portfolio monitoring and price alerts have become increasingly relevant in this environment. $63,000 zone as historic support

On-chain data reviewed by Ali Charts highlights the $63,111–$61,840 region as another area of interest. More than 1.3 million BTC have changed hands within this band, creating a historically significant transaction cluster that could draw renewed buying if prices approach this level. This zone, rather than acting as an impenetrable floor, is seen as a potential battleground between buyers and sellers.

Ali Charts has also outlined that there is no major supply wall until Bitcoin approaches $84,569, where approximately 582,000 BTC have previously transacted. This gap suggests if Bitcoin breaks above near-term resistance, there may be fewer barriers to higher prices in the broader trend outlook.

Should Bitcoin move below $63,669, analysts are likely to pay close attention to the $63,111–$61,840 band, a range underpinned by large historical trading volumes and active on-chain participation.

Technical indicators reveal neutral trend signals

According to TradingView, oscillators reflect a neutral technical stance, with the 14-day Relative Strength Index at 53.10 suggesting neither overbought nor oversold conditions. The Stochastic %K and Stochastic RSI Fast are both elevated yet classified as neutral, while the Commodity Channel Index also falls within normal bounds.

Momentum readings remain positive in some areas, with the MACD and Momentum (10) both registering buy signals. By contrast, Bull Bear Power continues to show a sell reading, highlighting divided short-term outlooks.

Moving averages underline indecisiveness

Bitcoin’s moving averages further illustrate the lack of consensus. Short-term 10-period averages around $64,900 produce sell signals and sit close to spot prices, reinforcing the importance of the current resistance zone. In contrast, several 20-period and 30-period averages between $62,852 and $64,267 have generated buy signals, indicating resilience in intermediate trends.

Longer-term averages, including the 50-period EMA at $65,077 and the 100–200-period averages in the $67,000–$73,000 range, continue to indicate caution, underlining that bullish momentum remains pressured until these levels are recaptured.

Short-term outlook hinges on key price levels

Should Bitcoin continue to face resistance at $64,900 and break below $63,669, attention will rapidly turn to the $63,111–$61,840 on-chain support. In the event buyers manage a strong push above resistance, targets of $69,687 and $73,240 may move into play, although such gains would require more than a brief intraday spike for confirmation.

As of now, volatility remains heightened with daily trading ranges fluctuating between $63,760 and $66,933.8. The market awaits decisive moves as traders monitor whether Bitcoin can build momentum above resistance or whether another wave of selling will send it back to retest historical support.
