According to the Coinmarketcap list, an unusual meme coin topped the list of the most profitable in the last 24 hours. This meme coin was none other than Mog Coin (MOG). The MOG price is trading at $0.00000224 after a 19.96% increase in the last 24 hours. More importantly, MOG’s price increase over the last 7 days was 39.35%.
MOG’s market cap rose to $807 million, nearing the $1 billion mark, positioning it 88th in volume ranking. The 24-hour trading volume increased by 15% to $41.5 million.
Rise of Meme Coins
Following MOG, three other meme coins were among the top six altcoins making a mark in the market. BONK closely followed MOG. BONK’s price reached $0.00003146 after a 19.89% increase, with a 7-day rise exceeding 41%.
Secondly, BRETT, the leading meme coin on the Base network, saw over a 13% increase, trading around $0.139. The 7-day price movement of 25.74% contributed to BRETT’s price rise.
Lastly, PEPE, the market’s third-ranked meme coin, saw an 11.29% increase today, trading at $0.00001273. PEPE’s 7-day rise approached 47%, pushing its market cap to $5.3 billion. This widened the gap with WIF and BONK.
Besides meme coins, notable rises included SEI, which saw a 15% increase, reaching $0.3937, and Arweave (AR), which rose by 12.27%, reaching $33.69.
