Bitcoin is maintaining its bullish pattern on the daily chart as the price tests critical resistance between $65,500 and $67,000. This technical area is seen as a pivotal level for the market’s next move, with buyers continuing to defend a series of higher lows.

Key resistance and bullish structure

The digital asset currently trades above its 10-day, 20-day, and 50-day moving averages, emphasizing improved short-term momentum for buyers. Market observers point to a bullish crossover in these averages, with the 50-day moving average near $63,100 now acting as a base of support for the ongoing recovery.

Analyst Super฿ro stated that a decisive breakout through the high-time-frame resistance could unsettle traders positioned for further declines. He indicated that if Bitcoin overcomes this zone, bearish outlooks may be challenged and momentum could accelerate upward.

Super฿ro identified the $66,500 to $67,000 region as a key resistance, noting that a clean break could expose price to a sequence of fair value gap areas between $67,000 and $77,000. The first upside target sits at $70,000, with further resistance expected near $71,500 to $73,000.

However, Bitcoin still faces a significant obstacle in the form of a descending trendline drawn from its previous all-time high. Sellers have previously emerged around $66,500 to $67,000, making this region a key test.

The broader bullish reversal remains unconfirmed as Bitcoin continues to trade below its declining 200-day moving average, now located near $72,500. According to analysts, reclaiming this level would mark a more decisive shift in favor of buyers and reinforce the recovery trend.

A move below $63,000 could damage the bullish structure and leave Bitcoin vulnerable to further declines toward $61,000 or $60,000. For now, the constructive tone remains as long as this key support holds and buyers continue to defend higher lows.

Short-term recovery and resistance levels

Bitcoin is also attempting a new push higher after retreating from resistance near $67,000. Analyst Friedrich pointed to $65,500 as the immediate level buyers need to reclaim on short-term charts, particularly the four-hour timeframe, to regain momentum towards $70,000.

Friedrich emphasized that a clean recovery above $65,500 would open the way for a rapid move to $70,000 and potentially higher resistance zones. In the meantime, Bitcoin’s price action remains caught between immediate support at $64,300 and resistance at $67,000.

Friedrich noted Bitcoin’s resilience even as traditional equity markets, such as the S&P 500, show weakness. He suggested that this divergence signals ongoing buying interest and increases the odds of a breakout, provided the move is confirmed by trading volumes and follow-through price action.

The analyst also clarified that losing $64,000 would erode the short-term bullish setup, bringing lower supports at $61,900 and $61,100 into focus. These levels are crucial for traders monitoring risk in the near term.

As of now, reclaiming the $65,500 area stands as buyers’ first objective, with a move above $67,000 providing stronger confirmation of continued bullish momentum and setting sights on $70,000 and above.
