South Korea‘s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange, Bithumb, recently announced the addition of new trading pairs in Korean won (KRW) for two significant cryptocurrencies. These two cryptocurrencies are Arweave (AR) and Ethereum Name Service (ENS). This development marks a significant expansion in Bithumb’s trading offerings, providing users with more options for trading and investing in the growing cryptocurrency market.
Exchange Also Provided Timeline
The exchange also specified the timeline for when deposits for these cryptocurrencies can be made. For Arweave (AR), deposits will start on May 28, 2024, at 20:00 Turkey time.
In contrast, for Ethereum Name Service (ENS), deposits will start a bit earlier on the same day, at 19:30 Turkey time. This staggered schedule will ensure the smooth and orderly integration of the new trading pairs into the platform.
AR and ENS
Arweave aims to provide a platform for the permanent storage of data through a decentralized storage network. It is known for its innovative technology that allows data to be stored indefinitely in a decentralized manner, making it resistant to censorship and data loss. The addition of AR to Bithumb’s trading options is likely to attract users interested in decentralized storage solutions and long-term data protection.
On the other hand, Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is a distributed, open, and extensible naming system based on the Ethereum Blockchain. ENS allows users to convert complex cryptocurrency addresses into simple, human-readable names, facilitating interaction with the Ethereum network. By listing ENS, Bithumb caters to users who value simplicity and ease of use in cryptocurrency transactions.
Bithumb’s move reflects the increasing demand for various cryptocurrency trading pairs and the growing interest in Blockchain-based projects that offer unique solutions to real-world problems. Bithumb aims to maintain its competitive edge in the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency market by continually expanding its range of tradable assets.
