BitMine Immersion Technologies, a US-based Ethereum treasury management company, has continued to grow its ETH holdings with the acquisition of an additional 28,086 ETH. The latest purchase brings BitMine’s total Ethereum reserve to 5.929 million ETH, with a market value estimated at $14.78 billion.
Staking strategy and revenue generation
The company reported that 5.067 million of its ETH holdings are staked through its Made in America Validator Network, known as MAVAN. This approach means that about 85% of BitMine’s Ethereum portfolio is actively participating in network validation for recurring yield.
With this structure, BitMine estimates its current staking activities generate approximately $330 million in annualized revenue. Staking provides ETH holders the opportunity to contribute to network security while receiving a share of transaction fees and newly issued ETH as rewards.
For treasury-focused firms like BitMine, staking offers a way to earn revenue on assets that would otherwise sit idle. However, these figures are subject to change as network dynamics, validator efficiency, and overall locked ETH fluctuate over time.
BitMine’s CEO stated that the combination of direct price exposure and staking rewards sets the firm apart from competitors who only hold digital assets without deploying them. The company remains focused on expanding its ETH strategy and diversifying its treasury operations.
Mini dictionary: BitMine Immersion Technologies — An Ethereum-focused treasury manager that accumulates, stakes, and manages large-scale digital asset portfolios, primarily consisting of ETH. The company operates the Made in America Validator Network (MAVAN) for staking activities.
BitMine highlighted that staking returns could change due to shifting network conditions, but annualized yields currently offset risks that come with direct price exposure to $ETH.

Portfolio composition and diversification
Ethereum forms the core of BitMine’s digital asset treasury. The firm also holds 211 BTC, a $180 million investment in Beast Industries, $91 million in shares of Eightco Holdings, and $593 million in cash and marketable securities.
Having significant liquid assets enables BitMine to support future Ethereum purchases or to allocate capital toward enhancing its staking infrastructure and other strategic investments. Holdings in Bitcoin and public companies provide additional diversification, although Ethereum remains the main driver of BitMine’s financial strategy and market value.
Technical view: Ethereum remains above key support
Ethereum continues to trade above its 20-, 50-, 100-, and 200-day exponential moving averages (EMAs), a sign that medium-term momentum remains favorable. The price is currently supported by short-term averages between $2,204 and $2,395, while the horizontal support level at $2,431 provides an additional floor.
Indicators such as the Relative Strength Index (RSI) and the Stochastic oscillator show that ETH buyers remain in control without driving the token into extreme overbought levels. This suggests ongoing interest but less aggressive momentum compared to earlier in the year.
Immediate resistance appears at $2,544. A daily close above this price could open the way toward further upside targets at $2,626 and $2,786. If the price fails to break $2,544, traders will likely look to $2,431 and the 20-day EMA at $2,395 as near-term support. The 200-day EMA near $2,251 offers additional protection in case of a larger drawdown, with major structural support identified around $2,172 and $1,961.
Tom DeMark, founder of DeMark Analytics and an adviser to BitMine, noted that Ether maintained its range in August without breaking lower, and recent technical signals support a potential renewal of the upward trend. Last week’s one-day surge may indicate the start of the next move higher.
As Ethereum holds above pivotal moving averages, confidence rebounds among institutional buyers. Still, a decisive close above immediate resistance remains key to confirming a sustained rally in ETH.
