Asset manager Bitwise forecasts substantial growth for Bitcoin

Expectations for Bitcoin’s Rise
Bitwise predicts that Bitcoin will reach a price of $200,000 by 2025. This forecast expects that Bitcoin ETFs will play a significant role in this increase. Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan and Research Head Ryan Rasmussen stated that the inflow from these funds will contribute to the value of Bitcoin.

Ethereum is anticipated to reach $7,000 by 2025. Additionally, the growth of stablecoins and tokenized projects built on the Ethereum network is expected to support price increases.
Potential of Solana
Solana is expected to reach a price level of $750. Bitwise forecasts this increase will occur due to significant projects being added to the Solana ecosystem. Attention is also drawn to the growth of complementary projects within Solana’s meme coin landscape.
Other 2025 Predictions
Bitwise made several other notable predictions for 2025. They expect Bitcoin ETFs will see greater inflows compared to 2024, Coinbase will become one of the world’s most valuable brokerage firms, and five cryptocurrency companies will go public. Furthermore, they anticipate that tokens issued by AI agents will boost meme coin enthusiasm and that the number of countries holding Bitcoin will double.
The company also predicts Coinbase will enter the S&P 500 and MicroStrategy will be included in the Nasdaq-100 index. With the U.S. Department of Labor easing guidance on cryptocurrencies in 401(k) plans, billions of dollars are expected to flow into crypto assets.
Bitwise further predicts the stablecoin market will grow to $400 billion and that tokenized real-world assets will exceed $50 billion. They also foresee Bitcoin surpassing the gold market by 2029, trading above $1 million.
