Bloomberg has introduced a new stablecoin dashboard for its Terminal platform, designed to give financial professionals enhanced access to onchain data such as supply, issuance, and transaction metrics across major stablecoins.
Comprehensive onchain data now available
The dashboard, powered by blockchain analytics provider Allium, features stablecoins with circulating supplies exceeding $100 million. This threshold captures more than 98% of the entire stablecoin market, as stated by Bloomberg. The platform enables users to compare various stablecoins based on metrics such as overall supply, issuances (mints), redemptions (burns), transfer volume, and velocity.
Activity can also be broken down by blockchain network and the type of asset being pegged, including both fiat currencies and commodities. The new feature is integrated into RWAS on the Terminal, giving users access to onchain stablecoin analytics alongside established tools for fixed income, foreign exchange, and money market analysis.

Terminal integrates digital asset growth

Bloomberg has offered Bitcoin pricing on the Terminal since 2014 and now provides pricing, reference data, unique identifiers, and benchmarks for 50 different cryptocurrencies.

The launch comes at a time when the stablecoin sector continues its expansion. Data from DeFiLlama shows that the stablecoin market capitalization has exceeded $306 billion.
