BNBChain, one of the largest smart contract platforms supported by Binance, has announced its roadmap for 2025. Numerous innovations are set to be implemented this year, promising significant technological enhancements. Concurrently, Bitcoin

Key Features of the 2025 Roadmap
BNBChain revealed its 2025 Technology Roadmap today, aiming to reduce block times while maintaining network efficiency. The goal is to achieve a daily transaction capacity of 100 million.
The year 2024 was a productive period, with a 41.7% increase in total locked value in the network. Moreover, financial losses due to security breaches decreased by 67%. Generally, these losses tend to rise year after year in the crypto sector. In 2025, BNB Chain will reduce block times from three seconds to milliseconds while striving for high network efficiency. This reduction will decrease transaction delays and increase the daily capacity to 100 million.
Additionally, an important detail regarding transaction fees was disclosed;
“In 2025, Megafuel will be co-developed to allow gasless transactions for user transactions from EOA addresses and enable users to pay gas fees using stablecoins or other BEP-20 token types. Any person or organization can sponsor specific types of transactions. This will complement the EIP-7702 based paymaster solutions available on BNB Chain.”
Smart Wallet and Artificial Intelligence Integration
This year, the network will introduce a smart wallet solution through the EIP-7702 update. This will simplify processes for new users by eliminating issues related to approval and subsequent transactions. Full sponsorship for transaction fees through paymasters will also be implemented.
Solutions that leverage liquidity advantages across different networks for trading will be integrated into wallets, enabling services ranging from hotel and flight reservations to purchases. These solutions will also utilize artificial intelligence.
In 2024, over 60 AI-focused projects were launched within the network, with more expected this year. We will see new applications, such as Myshell, Xterio, Tako, and Anon, being launched on the network.
For 2025, simplified SDKs and APIs will be rolled out, along with the BNB Chain AI Code Copilot. This will empower users to create their own applications more easily.
