Coinbase, the leading cryptocurrency exchange in the U.S. by trading volume, has announced a new altcoin listing. Following a significant announcement earlier today regarding the addition of ZORA Coin to its listing roadmap, the exchange has now unveiled another listing. This comes after anticipation surrounding the ZORA listing, which was executed without delays, as expected.
Latest Altcoin Listing Update
It was previously suggested that Coinbase may have formally added ZORA to its listing roadmap, indicating further listings in the hours to come. This speculation proved accurate, as the ZORA listing occurred shortly thereafter. Additionally, there is now confirmation that Mantra (MNT), another altcoin on the Ethereum $2,454 network, has been added to the listing roadmap.
As previously noted, there is no obligation for altcoins added to the listing roadmap to be listed immediately. However, if an altcoin shows strong trading volume and garners hype during the time of the announcement, an official listing is likely to follow soon after.
Currently, with the announcement of its listing roadmap, the altcoin in question is facing a resistance level of $0.773. Should this altcoin manage to attract more trading volume alongside its listing, a rally towards $0.85 could be anticipated in the coming days, fostering increased market activity.
