The Ethereum 
$2,332 Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting the Ethereum ecosystem, has announced the formation of a new advisory group aimed at preserving the network’s foundational values. This initiative aims to maintain adherence to principles such as open-source development, privacy, security, and resistance to censorship.
Formation of the External Advisory Group
The advisory group formed by the Foundation is named the “Silviculture Society.” It comprises 15 experts, including researchers, developers, and project founders outside the Ethereum Foundation. Group members aim to provide informal consulting to support Ethereum’s commitment to universal principles.
Vitalik Buterin, one of Ethereum’s co-founders, has voiced criticisms regarding some shifts in industry values. While noting certain societal labels attached to Ethereum, Buterin pointed out that different views exist in face-to-face discussions within the community.

The Foundation announced over $1.25 million in donations for legal expenses, emphasizing that coding in a privacy-respecting environment is not a crime.
Pertsev expressed gratitude for this support, indicating that the donation is crucial for his defense process.
