Years ago, individual investors were primarily interested in cryptocurrency, and this has changed over time. Now, even trillion-dollar giants are pursuing it. BlackRock, known for lending to governments, has been issuing BTC ETF for months as the world’s largest asset manager. There is much more to it. Therefore, the former Goldman executive’s interest in crypto is not that surprising.
Famous Names’ Crypto Comments
Macro guru Raoul Pal frequently shares evaluations about the markets. These evaluations guide investors. Previously a Goldman Sachs executive, Pal is currently known as the CEO of Real Vision.
In his market evaluation, Pal mentioned that we are on the brink of a long period of growth and also talked about SOL Coin, in which he is an investor. This evaluation might astonish the SOL Coin community because, despite the ETF news, SOL Coin is currently stagnant.
“(Bull market) When is the banana zone? I think it’s coming, and I think Solana will lead it. As I told you, patience is necessary. These things don’t happen overnight, but when they do, they can be life-changing.”
Presidential Elections and Crypto
The macro guru previously mentioned the connection between the US Presidential elections and crypto, stating that he sees it as a rally trigger. Considering Trump’s extremely pro-crypto comments, it wouldn’t be an exaggerated scenario for the market to rise as November approaches and he remains strong in the polls. Due to the presidential elections, the former Goldman executive expects a rally in the last quarter of this year.
“Two things caught my attention in Solana, aside from the many developers working on it, which I really liked. Two major things made me really interested in Solana. The first was NFT compression, which means NFTs can be opened for different use cases like ticketing, whatever it may be, even derivative contracts. Compressed NFTs allow for large-scale NFTs at low cost.
Then, what really pushed me over the edge and made me fully invest in Solana was Firedancer; currently, 90% of my crypto allocation, which is 100% of my liquid net worth, is in Solana. This might seem foolish to some of you, but I think market concentration is the right approach when everything is interconnected.”
When you read these comments, knowing that Pal is already a Solana investor, you will understand that they may not be entirely unbiased. Therefore, investors should always do their own research and make their own decisions.
