Following a successful pilot implementation in 2023, Garanti BBVA Kripto has further elevated its security standards and expanded the collaboration to its entire customer base. The company is enhancing the security of cryptocurrency transfers and storage with its new security infrastructure.
With the partnership of Ripple and IBM, Garanti BBVA Kripto’s security infrastructure has strengthened significantly. Utilizing IBM’s LinuxONE platform allows for secure storage of cryptocurrencies, while Ripple’s end-to-end security solutions enhance the protection of private keys, data, and applications. This comprehensive solution includes data encryption, isolation of customer environments, and hardware security modules, along with a management framework to minimize threats and tighten security against malicious actors.
