Binance has announced its 67th altcoin project, WalletConnect (WCT), through its Launchpool platform. Users can lock BNB, FDUSD, and USDC coins to farm WCT over a four-day period. WCT is an open-source protocol that offers secure and interoperable connections for decentralized applications. The Launchpool event will commence on April 11, 2025, and continue until the early hours of April 15, at which point WCT will be listed for trading in various pairs on Binance.

Starting from April 11, 2025, at 03:00 UTC, Binance users can participate in the farming process for WalletConnect by locking BNB, FDUSD, and USDC coins. The farming period will last just four days, concluding on April 15, 2025, at 02:59 UTC. During this brief campaign, users will have the chance to earn coins from an early-stage altcoin project.
WCT will have a total supply of 1 billion coins, with 40 million coins (4% of total supply) allocated as farming rewards. Of these, 85% will be distributed to users locking BNB, 10% to those locking USDC, and 5% to FDUSD users. Additionally, Binance will gradually distribute an extra 10 million WCT coins as part of its Learn & Earn campaign.
During the farming period, there are hourly maximum coin earning limits set for each user. In the BNB pool, the limit will be 35,416 WCT, while the FDUSD pool will allow for 2,083 WCT, and the USDC pool will have a limit of 4,166 WCT. These limits aim to maintain fairness and prevent large investors from hoarding excessively.
To participate in Binance’s 67th Launchpool, users must complete KYC, or identity verification.
WCT Coin Listing on Binance Scheduled for April 15
Following the farming process, Binance will list WCT coin on April 15, 2025, at 14:00 UTC. Initially, this altcoin will be traded in pairs with USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY. During the listing, WCT will be marked with a “Seed Tag”, indicating to investors that the altcoin project is in its early stages and may exhibit high volatility.
At the time of its initial listing, the circulating supply of WCT coin will be 186.2 million, representing approximately 18.62% of the total supply.
