Additionally, according to ConsenSys, pre-simulation of Smart Transactions using MetaMask’s real-time simulation service increases transaction success rates. The 99.5% transaction success rate achieved in beta tests demonstrates performance above industry standards.
Thanks to Smart Transactions, users can now monitor the real-time status of pending transactions directly within the wallet without going to third-party block explorers. This provides better visibility into when and how their signed transactions will occur.
Jason Linehan, Director of ConsenSys Special Mechanisms Group, emphasizes that Smart Transactions allow users to automatically have a better view of their transaction outcomes. This feature offers a more secure experience by reducing the likelihood of transaction failures.
What Is the Goal of the Update?
With this update, MetaMask aims to provide significant relief and a user-friendly experience to the Ethereum community. Specifically developed to overcome issues such as past transaction failures and the complexity of the Ethereum network, this feature is poised to gain users’ trust.
In recent months, MetaMask launched Validator Staking support, allowing users to stake 32 ETH through ConsenSys custody services. Additionally, the wallet’s operation with much lower commissions than centralized exchanges is noteworthy.
