$103,012 exceeded $100,000 while this article was being prepared, but it has since retraced to $99,700. It’s positive to see it hover around these levels. Future of Cryptocurrencies
Reflecting on the early days of 2024, we find ourselves in a similar situation. The major event today is the potential removal of sanctions by crypto-friendly Trump, which could relieve price pressure. Discussions are already underway about U.S.-based crypto companies stopping legal actions unrelated to fraud, and yes, XRP Coin is racing toward new records, currently sitting at $3.34.
Popular crypto analyst Dylan LeClair likens today’s circumstances to those of last year.
“I compare this situation to both the launch of spot ETFs and the elections. You can’t price in entries before they happen.
How can the allowance for banks to hold BTC (SAB 121) be priced in? That event hasn’t occurred yet.”
What happens when we see a series of approved altcoin ETFs? When Trump issues decrees supporting cryptocurrencies? When crypto lawsuits concerning XRP Coin and others are resolved in one sweep? When concrete steps are taken to establish a national Bitcoin reserve under Trump’s command? And while all this unfolds, over $6 billion in cash returned to FTX creditors goes back into cryptocurrencies? As the U.S. and China engage in a competitive race for crypto dominance, all these scenarios are not far-fetched for the potential 2025 bull market.
DOGE and ETH Trends
Mister Crypto has turned his attention to Ether, which is almost becoming a stablecoin. He shares the graph below, boosting the morale of altcoin investors. If he is correct, ETH will move toward a price target of $6,500 to reach the channel’s peak.
Daan Crypto Trades shared the following graph for DOGE and wrote;
“DOGE reclaimed the significant price level of ~$0.35. In this second wave, it held stronger than most coins, which made new lows this week. I would like to see it rise above $0.4 to reach cycle highs once again.
The strongest in the current market are BTC and DOGE & XRP-like Dino coins.”
