In recent weeks, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an important decision and approved a bill that would allow cryptocurrency mining in the future. The process did not stop there, and completely different news was also shared.
Later, it was announced that Russia had taken steps to establish two new cryptocurrency exchanges linked to the Chinese Yuan and BRICKS currencies and to launch a stablecoin. This situation was interpreted as a reflection of Russia’s recent cryptocurrency policy.
Just a few minutes ago, another development occurred in Russia, and it was stated that the country would start using cryptocurrencies in international transactions as of September 1, reflecting once again how far Russia has moved away from the restrictions seen in the past in the field of cryptocurrencies.

The events in Russia were not limited to this. The country also had statements about the recently detained founder of Telegram, Pavel Durov.
Telegram’s founder Pavel Durov was detained in France a few days ago. Following this news, attention turned to the TON network and Toncoin, which has many mini apps on Telegram. While the TON price was trying to reach the $7 level before the news, it suddenly dropped and, as of the time of writing today, is finding buyers at the $5.43 level after an 18.16% drop in the last 7 days.
This situation seems to be reinforced by a 2.94% drop in the last 24 hours and a 0.40% price decline in the last hour, indicating that there is currently no upward momentum.
