Shiba Inu Community Mobilizes for Shibarium
What started as an informal request to the Exodus Crypto Wallet team has turned into a full-fledged campaign for integration across various platforms. This campaign was sparked by a simple yet effective request from a Shiba Inu community member, Chubibi (@Pika_Shib).
In a post directed at the Exodus Crypto Wallet team, Chubibi expressed the community’s desire to support Shibarium, emphasizing its importance as a Layer-2 solution. The post, stating “Please add the Shibarium network to your wallet. Shibarium is an L2 solution,” quickly garnered interest among other enthusiasts.
Chubibi’s informal request made a significant impact within the community by highlighting the importance of facilitating the integration of Blockchain protocols. It emphasized the need to expand access to Shibarium by integrating it with popular exchange wallets and other infrastructures.
The response from Exodus Wallet was encouraging. Although there is no official confirmation yet, Exodus accepted the request and forwarded it to the appropriate channels for consideration.
The Rapid Rise of Shibarium
Shibarium, since its launch in August 2023, has shown significant growth in total blocks and transactions, quickly gaining prominence in the crypto ecosystem. With over 3.6 million total blocks and 408 million total transactions, it is rapidly emerging as a notable presence.
Its integration into various platforms is being strengthened through collaborations, like the partnership announced with Tangem in February. Tangem, a key partner of the Shiba Inu project, is working to integrate Shibarium into its own wallet ecosystem.
This move is expected to benefit both Tangem users and the Shibarium community, offering a seamless experience for storing local Shibarium assets and Shiboshis NFTs. Looking at the price of the meme coin Shiba Inu (SHIB), we see it trading at $0.00003170 today, with a decline of approximately 1.24%.
