The altcoin, which reached $44.23, increased by 15% in the last 24 hours and by 20% weekly. With a market value approaching $3 billion, it only generated a trading volume of $200 million. It ranks as the 41st largest cryptocurrency by market value.
If the price closes above $44.8, it could run towards targets of $47.6 and $50. Investors should be cautious as the price had previously failed twice and dropped to $30.
