Raoul Pal, the former executive of Goldman Sachs and one of the world’s largest investment banks, praised Solana (SOL) as one of the most preferred altcoins and potentially the most promising project outside of Ethereum (ETH).
Praise for Solana’s Co-Founder
Pal, the founder of Real Vision, stated in an interview with Altcoin Daily that Solana’s co-founder, Anatoly Yakovenko, has become an important thought leader in the cryptocurrency market and represents the Solana ecosystem beautifully:
I observe Solana because many people tend to obsess over what they love and become a part of it, but I only observe Solana. I see Yakovenko as a thought leader. He accepts and builds bridges with others.
I see a highly engaged developer community, and people are truly passionate about developing their own ecosystems and technologies. There are many people using it, and there is a lot of public awareness about the network.
“Solana: The Most Reliable Investment in the Market”
Recently, payment giant Visa announced that it had developed new stablecoin swap features on Solana. According to Pal, the possibility of Visa not being on the right track is weak at least to some extent.
The former executive of Goldman Sachs stated that if digital assets are heading towards another market expansion in the next few years, Solana could be one of the most reliable investments:
So, why is Visa using Solana? Because it’s fast and does its job well. It’s not Ethereum. It’s different from Ethereum, and even Yakovenko’s way of speaking, like ‘Can SOL be Layer 2 in ETH?’ or ‘How do these worlds integrate?’ shows that Visa didn’t make a wrong decision. It’s easy because bridges can be built between systems, and things can work together.
I’ve observed this recently, and Solana has not made a wrong move in the market for a long time. Moreover, it’s during a period when everyone has maximum fear and hatred towards the market.
For me, this is a great story. It’s probably the best main story in the market outside of Ethereum because Ethereum is the grandfather. We are now looking at the next stage, where the next altcoin with relative security is and not making wild predictions.
