A recent survey conducted by Coinbase in partnership with EY-Parthenon highlights the strategies of 352 corporate investors regarding digital assets for 2025. The study aims to understand investors’ market expectations and increasing trends in their planning.
Corporate Crypto Asset Survey
According to the results, 83% of investors plan to increase their shares in crypto assets over the next three years, considering the associated risks. This trend is seen as a continuation of the previous year’s 85% surge in investments in digital assets.
Coinbase states, “The survey data indicates that a significant majority of investors aim to increase their crypto asset investments. Institutions hope to benefit from promising returns in this market.”
Furthermore, 59% of investors intend to allocate more than 5% of their managed assets to cryptocurrencies this year. This indicates that crypto assets are beginning to secure a place outside traditional portfolios.
Market Expectations and Strategies
Seventy-three percent of surveyed investors reported investing in Bitcoin $84,179 and Ethereum
$1,993. Additionally, 84% expressed interest in or continued usage of stablecoins.
Corporate investors prefer crypto trading products that implement diversified multi-token index strategies. This preference suggests a shift towards utilizing different instruments in the market.
The survey signals that cryptocurrencies are likely to gain a more prominent position in corporate portfolios in the future. The growing interest among investors may indicate a strategic shift in line with the sector’s development.
Institutions are reassessing their portfolio allocations towards digital assets, balancing risk and returns. Diversifying investment strategies aims to manage market uncertainties and leverage long-term profit potential.
