Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) and USTC holders’ count has reached a new milestone of 5.5 million. The growth rate is relatively low compared to the post-Terra Luna crisis in 2022, but the number of wallets holding Terra Luna Classic ecosystem tokens continues to increase, particularly with the support of Binance and other cryptocurrency exchanges.
LUNC Analytics Data
According to data from Cosmos blockchain analytics firm ATOMScan, the number of LUNC and USTC holders has reached a new milestone of 5.5 million. The Terra Luna Classic community, supported by validators and developers, took on the task of reviving the chain, which increased the wallet count from 5 million. Terra Classic accounts are even higher than top cryptocurrencies like Cardano and Shiba Inu. Recent reports indicate that the total number of wallets on the Cardano network has surpassed 4.6 million. In addition, according to Etherscan and ShibariumScan data, the number of Shiba Inu holders has reached 1.38 million.
As the adoption of cryptocurrency increases, the number of wallets for leading cryptocurrencies continues to grow, while the number of Terra Luna Classic wallets suggests that people still hold onto their LUNC and USTC with the hope that prices will recover during a bull market. The Terra Luna Classic burning event supported by cryptocurrency exchange Binance has increased LUNC prices. To date, Binance has burned a total of 53.48 billion LUNC tokens.
LUNC Burning Event
Other crypto exchanges and projects have also burned LUNC to support the community in reducing the token supply. The LUNC price increased by 5% from a strong support level, the lowest price in 24 hours, which was $0.000123. The lowest and highest values in 24 hours were $0.000123 and $0.000134, respectively. A 40% decrease in trading volume in the last 24 hours could indicate waning interest among investors.
The total LUNC futures open interest (OI) increased by over 2% in 24 hours and by 4% in the last 4 hours. Meanwhile, the price of 1000LUNC on Binance and Bybit increased by 2% in the last few hours. The latest positive sentiment could be a result of the upcoming major v2.4.2 upgrade. The USTC price also increased by 2% in the last 24 hours. It is currently trading at $0.0259, with the lowest and highest levels in 24 hours being $0.0243 and $0.0266, respectively. Additionally, the trading volume decreased by 40% in the last 24 hours.
