The crypto data platform CryptoDiffer shared the altcoins trending in searches on Binance today. According to the data compiled by CryptoDiffer, the altcoin that is trending by a significant margin in the exchange’s searches is BNB. Binance’s trading volume dominance for BNB was recorded at 23%.
In second place is the largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin (BTC), followed by Ethereum (ETH) in third place. Binance’s trading volume dominance for ETH was measured at 21%.
The rest of the list includes Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX), Dogecoin (DOGE), Streamr (DATA), Polygon (MATIC), Fusionist (ACE), Sats (1000SATS), Ordi (ORD), Cosmos (ATOM), Chainlink (LINK), Sei (SEI), and Tron (TRX), in that order.
The Current State of the Altcoin Market
Following Bitcoin’s recent pullback to around $40,600, the altcoin market is predominantly moving sideways without a clear direction as the upward momentum slows. At the time of writing, the biggest cryptocurrency crossing the $43,000 threshold was enough to stimulate some altcoins.
At the top of CoinMarketCap’s list of the biggest gainers of the day is Stacks (STX), which has risen by 20.90% in the last 24 hours. STX is followed by NEAR Protocol (NEAR) and Mina (MINA), which have increased by 17.95% and 12.17%, respectively, within the same time frame. The top five is rounded out by Sui (SUI) with an 8.85% increase and Hedera (HBAR) with an 8.08% increase.
On the other hand, the top of the list of the biggest losers of the day includes Bonk (BONK), which has fallen by 9.83% to $0.00001826, Sats (1000SATS) with a 9.78% decrease to $0.0006771, Ordi (ORDI) with a 7.21% drop to $49.59, Internet Computer (ICP) with a 5.40% decrease to $9.17, and Terra Classic (LUNC) with a 5.15% decrease to $0.0001557.
