$86 network support into its web application. Users can now connect their Solana wallets directly to the Uniswap Web App, enabling them to swap SOL coins and other Solana-based tokens. By supporting Solana alongside existing networks like Ethereum 
$2,328 and Base, Uniswap aims to offer a comprehensive multi-blockchain experience through a single interface.
Addressing Fragmentation in DeFi with Solana Integration
The addition of Solana is described by the Uniswap team as a step towards integrating the fragmented nature of decentralized finance. In a post on its blog, the company emphasized how the independent development of Ethereum and Solana ecosystems has led to unnecessary complexity for users. Users often have to switch between platforms to transact on different blockchains, which prolongs transaction times and creates barriers for new users.
