US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) reported net inflows of $232.1 million on Wednesday, according to data from SoSoValue. This figure represents a slowdown from Tuesday’s inflows, which totaled $314.4 million, and marks the smallest daily net inflow since August 18.
ETF inflows soften but streak continues
Wednesday’s inflows were 26% lower compared to the previous day, continuing an eight-day streak that has brought in approximately $2.8 billion in new investments. Year-to-date, net outflows have been reduced to around $2.03 billion, with total cumulative net inflows now standing at $54.6 billion. The total net assets held by US spot Bitcoin ETFs reached $98.6 billion by the end of Wednesday’s session.
| Date | Daily Net Inflow ($ Million) |
|---|---|
| Tuesday | 314.4 |
| Wednesday | 232.1 |
This ongoing streak of net inflows has eased the outflow concerns that persisted earlier in the year. Market analysts have closely watched these figures to gauge appetite from institutional and retail investors.
Bitcoin price movement and market sentiment
The latest ETF inflow data coincides with Bitcoin’s price stabilizing after briefly moving above $80,000 on Tuesday. At the time of report, Bitcoin was trading at approximately $78,759, reflecting a modest decrease of 0.3% over the past 24 hours as tracked by CoinGecko.
Despite this pause in price momentum, cryptocurrency market sentiment appeared to strengthen. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index, monitored by Alternative.me, climbed to 71 from 65 the previous day, positioning the market firmly in the “Greed” zone.

Altcoin ETF flows
Investor attention also spread to altcoin-focused funds. US spot Ether ETFs recorded their eighth straight day of inflows on Wednesday, attracting $192.4 million.
Meanwhile, US-listed spot XRP ETFs captured $28.1 million in net inflows, their largest daily intake since January 5. Cumulative net inflows for these funds have reached $1.62 billion as of the latest session, according to data compiled by SoSoValue.
