$2,421, has become the guardian of a baby hippo named Moo Deng, as announced by the Khao Kheow Open Zoo. His generous donation to the zoo has created a buzz, leading to a significant spike in the price of the MOODENG meme token, which rose by 70% within just one hour.
Buterin Makes a Major Donation
On December 25, the Khao Kheow Open Zoo announced via their official social media that Buterin accepted the offer to be Moo Deng’s guardian. He also donated 10,000,000 Thai Baht (THB) to the zoo in the name of Moo Deng.
With this support, Buterin aims to contribute not only to the zoo but also to animal conservation efforts.

Buterin’s donation has led to a substantial increase in the MOODENG token’s value. The token gained 70% in value within 24 hours, although it subsequently lost some of its gains. Currently, MOODENG trades at approximately 0.0001942 dollars, with a 275% increase in trading volume observed. This surge has boosted the token’s visibility in the market.
