$2,366, made significant remarks regarding popular memecoin projects in the cryptocurrency world. In a recent post on the X platform, he praised the MOODENG memecoin, stating that he donated all the tokens sent to him to charity.
MOODENG Sets an Example
Buterin emphasized the importance of memecoin projects donating some of their proceeds to charitable organizations. He specifically highlighted the MOODENG community, saying, “The 10 billion MOODENG tokens sent to me today were donated to support technologies developed against airborne diseases.” This demonstrated that such projects can go beyond entertainment and take serious social responsibility steps.
Buterin also called upon memecoin communities to take action, stating, “Direct donations are much more effective. You could even establish a DAO to involve your community in these processes.” He highlighted the importance of including communities in decision-making processes.
