Strategic Moves by Early Investors
When the first investment was made in this wallet in 2013 and 2014, the price of Bitcoin was below $800. Today, the current value of Bitcoin shows a gain of over 4,920% for this investment. This is proof of how profitable early cryptocurrency investments can be in the long term.
Similarly, another early Bitcoin holder made a notable move by transferring 20 BTC worth approximately $1.41 million after 11 years. This investment, made in July 2013, required an expenditure of $1,676 when the price of Bitcoin was around $80. This translates to an astonishing gain of approximately 68,000%.
Any Movement to Cryptocurrency Exchanges?
The transfers from these wallets were not sent to any exchanges. In other words, it shows that the owners are not currently thinking of liquidating their assets. If these large amounts were released into the market, it could have likely caused significant market fluctuations. Bitcoin, the flagship of cryptocurrencies, was trading at over $57,700 with an increase of more than 2% at the time of these movements.
