Linda Yaccarino will now take Elon Musk’s seat and the mischievous billionaire will focus on more technical work in the background. As you know, Elon Musk has an X App project and he bought Twitter just for that. Moreover, while making the new CEO announcement, he mentioned that the work for X App will accelerate even more. So how does the new CEO look at cryptocurrencies? Which altcoins is he interested in?
New Twitter CEO
The man who announced the news of a new CEO on Thursday announced the name on Friday. Linda Yaccarino, NBCUniversal’s current advertising chief, will take over as CEO of the playful billionaire. A veteran media executive, Yaccarino spent nearly 12 years at NBCUniversal and before that spent 20 years running the advertising division of media conglomerate Turner Broadcasting. One of Musk’s top priorities is monetization, and Linda has been Twitter’s go-to person for that.
We don’t know much about him, about his Twitter dreams. But she is not far from cryptocurrencies. With Elon Musk handing over the reins, he may be in charge of the pump organization for Dogecoin and other meme coins. So investors will need to watch him as closely as Musk.
Linda Yaccarino Cryptocurrencies
Yaccarino currently follows a large number of accounts on Twitter affiliated with Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, including the main accounts of both coins. Yaccarino also follows a number of contributors to the Dogecoin community on Twitter, including Dogecoin co-creator Billy Markus, DogeDesigner, creator of MyDoge, a self-powered Dogecoin wallet; and Sir Doge of the Coin, a prominent Dogecoin evangelist and influencer.
The funny thing is that these names have in common their entertaining correspondence with Musk. Elon Musk often shares fun memes with the above accounts, especially those directly linked to Dogecoin. Moreover, Musk’s love for Dogecoin is not over. He recently gave a user a tour of the head office for 3 DOGE and wrote that he received the 3 DOGE payment.
Linda may want to create an agenda with her posts, just like her boss Musk. Moreover, the mischievous billionaire, who knows how to influence the masses, might advise her to do so.
While Yaccarino’s position on many crypto and Twitter-related issues remains unclear, the executive has in the past strongly supported the site’s efforts to embrace open source coding and digital transparency under Musk’s leadership.
