These transfers involved astonishing amounts of tens and hundreds of millions of XRP. The largest of the two transfers involved the movement of a massive amount of 425,118,503 XRP worth $224,906,760 from Bitvavo to an unknown wallet.

A similar movement of 425,868,525 tokens in XRP took place on Friday, August 25th, resulting in the withdrawal of over a billion XRP (more than 950 million tokens) from Bitvavo to various anonymous digital wallets.

Data obtained from the XRP-focused platform Bithomp, in particular, revealed that both massive transfers originated from addresses associated with Bitvavo. This indicates that these transfers are merely internal redistributions made by the exchange and are not expected to have a significant impact on the price movement of XRP.

The Future of XRP Coin

Whale Alert’s tracking capabilities also detected an impressive flow of 28,400,000 XRP to the leading exchange Bitstamp. This notable deposit, with a current value of $14,921,752, may indicate the depositor’s intention to sell these XRP tokens on the open market in the future. Over the past weekend, a total of 879.3 million XRP tokens were transferred, explaining the extensive activity seen in the market.

Although the price briefly dropped, the two massive transactions carried out on Bitvavo were not related to the nature of the transactions, as announced by Bithomp. However, additional XRP was deposited into Bitstamp, further contributing to the overall market fluctuations.
