US spot XRP exchange-traded funds have reported a marked slowdown in new investment, even as Ripple announces a surge in institutional partnerships and advances its regulated infrastructure efforts.

XRP ETF Inflows Remain Flat Amid High Institutional Activity

On November 3, net inflows to the five monitored XRP ETFs in the US stood at zero, following a withdrawal of approximately $530,000 on November 2, according to CryptoETF Today’s flow tracker. Preliminary numbers for November 4 also indicated no new creations or redemptions for tracked funds.

Cumulative net inflows into US spot XRP ETFs remain around $1.81 billion since these products first launched in November 2025, indicating past investor interest. However, over recent days, net buying activity has diminished significantly.

On October 30, withdrawals from all XRP ETFs totaled about $496,000, followed by $530,000 in redemptions on November 2. No net inflows were recorded on November 3, even though roughly $14 million worth of ETF shares were traded on the secondary market. This significant volume highlights that many trades are investor-to-investor, which does not impact ETF fund inflow or outflow tallies.

The most recent day with meaningful net inflows was October 29, when XRP ETFs registered approximately $8.4 million in new investments.

ETF Performance and Investor Sentiment

By November 3, combined net assets of the five US-traded spot XRP ETFs stood near $1.46 billion, falling short of cumulative investor contributions. Recent reconstructions based on share acquisition costs suggested unrealized investor losses around $440 million, though official figures at the shareholder level are not available.

XRP ETF inflows have stalled despite ongoing institutional adoption, with net asset values remaining well below total contributions and recent estimates indicating $440 million in unrealized losses compared with investor cost bases.

The stalling in ETF inflows comes at a time when Ripple is actively expanding its institutional relationships and product ecosystem across banking, custody, stablecoins, and payment infrastructure.

Ripple’s Institutional Expansion Fails to Drive Direct Token Demand

Ripple has reported that, as of October 28, its solutions are now used by more than 1,700 institutional and corporate clients, with customer adoption tripling for organizations leveraging multiple Ripple products. Notably, Ripple recently expanded its partnership with BNY to include institutional custody for both XRP and its stablecoin RLUSD, also unlocking new potential in tokenized trade finance.

The company has also established agreements that could introduce RLUSD to Robinhood’s retail application later in 2026. Ripple partnered with Coinbase to extend stablecoin access for trading and institutional participants.

These business expansions are supported by Ripple’s US banking approval, reinforcing the regulatory base for its suite of enterprise offerings.

Ripple outlined that while partnerships and customer growth advance the firm’s business, product adoption does not always generate direct demand for XRP as an asset, particularly where transactions settle in stablecoins such as RLUSD or when other infrastructure products are used independently of the token.

While these moves strengthen Ripple’s position in the regulated financial sector, increased revenue from institutional products does not directly translate into higher demand for XRP in US spot ETFs. Many of Ripple’s new solutions, including RLUSD and brokerage services, enable institutional customers to transact and settle without holding XRP itself.

In cases where payments expand via the XRPL network but are denominated in stablecoins, underlying demand for XRP as a settlement asset may remain limited. This dynamic partly explains why large-scale institutional activity at Ripple has not yet resulted in renewed investment flows into spot XRP ETFs.
