XRP is holding steady around the $1.50 level after a volatile September, with traders continuing to monitor its ongoing uptrend from the August lows. The cryptocurrency posted modest gains at the start of the week, closing sessions above $1.50 and recording a daily increase of 0.4%.
Technical picture: Resistance and support levels
Market analysts have noted that XRP’s positive trend began in August, where it established a crucial support near $1.00. This sparked a recovery that pushed the price above $1.40 and brought it back into a resistance band that has acted as a cap several times this year.
The principal hurdle remains just above the current price, between $1.58 and $1.65. XRP tested this region multiple times in September, briefly surpassing $1.60 before pulling back. The coin now sits slightly below this ceiling while adhering to an ascending trend line.
A decisive daily close above $1.60 could open the path to the $1.65 to $1.70 range. To the downside, the ascending trend line and then the broader support zone between $1.20 and $1.25 provide potential cushions if sellers gain control.
Momentum indicators remain neutral to positive. The daily Relative Strength Index stands at 57.14, positioned above the 50-mark but well below overbought levels. Meanwhile, the MACD indicator reflects modest but positive momentum, with the MACD line slightly above its signal line and a marginally positive histogram.
Cryptocurrency analyst Crypto Rover pointed to the $1.58 to $1.65 range as a significant resistance that, if broken, could lead to stronger upward movement. He emphasized that “once XRP clears these resistance levels, it will soar,” underscoring the heightened attention around this zone.
ETF inflows and network news
Institutional investment activity remains robust. U.S. spot XRP ETFs registered $75.59 million in new inflows during the trading week of September 21 to 25, according to SoSoValue. Bitwise attracted the majority of these assets with $58.99 million, while Franklin Templeton added $16.60 million.
Total ETF inflows have now climbed to approximately $1.79 billion, with combined net assets settling near $1.77 billion. Most recently, Canary’s XRPC fund contributed another $3.96 million, bringing ETF net asset valuation to about $1.68 billion as of the latest update.
Beyond the price action, attention has shifted to technical upgrades within the blockchain. The BatchV1_1 feature for the XRP Ledger, designed to group up to eight interdependent transactions for collective execution, has been delayed until at least October 9 after validators paused approval.
Ripple stated that asset managers and institutional participants are preparing to utilize the new batch processing feature, especially for delivery-versus-payment solutions once the enhancement becomes active.
Meme tokens: Trends and investor behavior
Amid ongoing monitoring of market structure and momentum indicators such as RSI, the meme token sector has also captured significant interest. In this segment, online trends can rapidly attract millions of dollars. Fomo App highlighted a recent trade in “Niu Lai,” where a $99 investment was converted into nearly $370,000, providing a clear illustration of the sector’s potential.
In these fast-moving markets, timing and the selection of new tokens can prove just as important as watching price charts. Investors aiming to stay ahead are increasingly turning to platforms that offer real-time tracking of investment trends and peer activity. Fomo App, for example, integrates token discovery and trade management, while also featuring investor rankings, social feeds, and instant trade notifications.
In the meme token market, following both price movements and investor decisions has become critical. Analysts suggest that using platforms with comprehensive feeds and ranking systems helps investors navigate the rapidly evolving meme token landscape.
