As we had already mentioned during the Fed week, this negativity could envelop the markets, and it did. On the other hand, X (Twitter) shared significant data. According to this, crypto became the fourth most used word.

According to a recent post from the official account of Twitter, which updated its name to X, the word “crypto” was the fourth most used term on the platform the previous day. This shows how intensely crypto is being discussed on X compared to other words.
The official account’s post stated the following;

Elon Musk, pointing to the fourth word, crypto, suggested with a smiley emoji that “this is probably because of bots.”
Elon Musk and Cryptocurrencies
For a long time, Elon Musk has been saying that he doesn’t care about cryptocurrencies and that they are no longer a priority on his agenda. This is how he responds to questions directed at him about crypto and even just Bitcoin. Tesla and SpaceX, which still hold a massive amount of Bitcoin, have not yet started to sell for profit according to on-chain data.
Dogecoin, openly supported by Elon Musk for a long time, played a significant role in both rises and falls in the general market. His posts about Dogecoin at the beginning of the bear market did not yield the expected results, and DOGE could not be physically sent to space.
Now, Elon Musk seems to be bothered even by the fact that crypto has become the fourth most popular word on the platform, blaming bots for this.
Google Trend data contradicts Elon Musk, as searches for Bitcoin climbed to the highest level of the last 12 months during the period of March 10-16. So, the surge in interest is not exclusive to X, as investors and potential new investors are also making their presence felt in Google searches.
